Boska
Boska first let the world head his bass orientated house during Tromsø’s Insomnia festival in 2010 and shortly thereafter dropped a bunch of remixes and original tracks alike for Mental Overdrive’s much respected Love OD Communications imprint. After being picked up by Red Bull for their prestigious Music Academy event in Madrid in 2011 his career took on a distinctly international flavour, “Sicka” a collaboration with Asma Maroof (Nguzunguzu, M.I.A) followed picking up a feature on Pitchfork. His next release and EP entitled “Without Love” took the blogosphere by storm, picking up posts from L.A. to Estonia and received a glowing review from electronica bible Resident Advisor and the video a premiere on XLR8R. With a high-octane live show, improvised around his original tracks and delivered on both electronics and live instruments he made his mark in clubs across Europe with killer shows in Madrid, Cologne, London, Berlin and Stockholm amongst others. At last year’s Øya festival Lot Lot presented club show he debuted an all new live show, now featuring visuals from Petra Hermanová. Axel Boman picked up a track for his Studio Barnhus label and soon after had Julio Bashmore dropping it on BBC Radio 1’s In New Music We Trust Show. This past Autumn saw another EP entitled “Submarine/Behave” on a new London label curated by the one and only Capracara.
Boska is currently splitting his time between Oslo and Berlin and maintains a hectic international touring schedule all the while producing a tracks for a host of new releases.

Rangleklods (DK)
During the past couple of years the now Copenhagen based Dane Rangleklods has created a following in the underground milieus of Berlin and Denmark through original and ambitious tracks paired with intense and ever-changing live performances. Rangleklods’ music captures its audience by seeing past conventions regarding genre and what’s considered good and bad taste, simply giving in to the subconscious will of creative impulses while playfully utilizing the computer as a musical instrument without limitation. The physically encouraging compositions unite a great sense of melody with sound experimentation brought together by a charismatically deep but encompassing voice, thereby creating an absorbing universe that dares to speak directly to the emotions of the listener.
Rangleklods’ sound consists of recorded instruments and analogue gear alongside purely digital and intensely programmed patterns intertwining into audioscapes ranging from minimal techno to 60’s style “Wall of Sound”. Both in that regard and composition-wise Rangleklods points just as much backwards towards David Bowie and The Doors as it does forwards, to a world inhabited by artists such as James Holden and The Field.
Rangleklods released his debut EP “Home” in October 2011, which was followed up five months later with the album ‘Beekeeper’. The title of the album is very much a metaphor for how Rangleklods creates and considers his music: the interconnection of order and chaos. What may strike its audience as chaos at first listen later reveals itself as carefully ordered elements while unheard layers of sound and nuance continually reveal themselves. Everything has a place, a meaning and a goal – just like the bees in a hive. Following these critically acclaimed releases Rangleklods has been picked to play SPOT Festival, The Great Escape, Roskilde Festival, Iceland Airwaves and Dockville to name but a few.

Intertwine
Intertwine was started in 2006 by then 17-year old Tarjei in his bedroom in Larvik, Norway. Tired of reading piano and trumpet sheet music, he started creating his own tracks, weaving distorted and repitched piano, cornet and vocal sounds together into melancholic carpets of reverb, the name of the project: Intertwine. In 2011/2012, three tracks were postet on P3 Urørt. They were all picked up by national radio, while “So what” was awarded Urørt band of the week. 2012 was also the year Intertwine was signed to Oslo indie label Brilliance, and Tarjei moved temporarily to Tokyo to study, write and perform new music. In 2013 Intertwine returns to Norway for what seems to be potentially a very exciting year.

Autolaser
Autolaser is one of the key figures in the Norwegian EDM scene. Since a strong placing in last year’s NRK Urørt competition he’s gone on to sign a deal with EMI domestically and establish himself in the Norwegian scene with his mix of electro, dubstep and d&b.
Autolaser, Kent Tonning to his mum, has a background in metal, rock, jazz and classical music but became quickly tired of playing in bands. He started making music on his own, initially film soundtracks but as time wore on his output took a darker, more electronic direction. Autolaser has an unusual sense of security when it comes to his own personal style which blends headphone and dancefloor sensibility seamlessly.
Off the back of his show at by:Larm last year he enjoyed a host of festival appearances at home as well as a twelve date club tour of India.

Over the last year Panamah have picked up continually increasing attention on the Danish music scene. In late 2010 they were labelled one-to-watch by Denmark’s biggest music magazine Gaffa and that was followed by the release of the single “Ikke for Sent”, that was pick of the week on national radio. In the Summer 2012 Panamah released their new single “DJ Blues” which became a massive hit on the national radio and itunes charts. The massive airplay from the national radio and a couple of shows on national television resulted in the single went gold after a few months.
Panamah has received many praising remarks in regards to their unique and refreshing sound, as well as their take on the pop-genre influenced by different genres such as house, folk, electronica and traditional singer/songwriter. Topped by a soft distinct vocal sound and a song writing that refers to the traditional Nordic pop song-traditions.

Nause (SE)
For every Swedish hopeful to emerge amid the age of global hysteria towards electronic music, few can boast of the heights attained by fast rising duo Nause. Both in their early twenties and united by the same vision and passion for house music that consumed their teenage years, their inauguration to Universal music and the global dance scene alike has marked a journey of intensely focused talent and considerable enthusiasm for all-embracing music.
In a short but sharp sweep, the budding duo has already proven their worth on many levels. Debuting for Universal Music with “Made Of” – their first essential stab a the charts and airwaves alike – double-barreled label follow-up “Mellow” and its vocal remodel “Hungry Hearts” for 2012 have established a strong sense of consistency to this hotly tipped duo. Preserving their knack emotional resonance and uplifting melodic hallmarks alongside such high profile remix duties for Kaskade, Rebecca & Fiona and Eric Turner alike, it is fair to say that their status as Scandinavia’s best-kept secret is close to being shot-down.
Leaping from the underground club scene of their native Stockholm into a series of online collaborative efforts, childhood friends Jacob Criborn and Leonard Scheja would find themselves bonded by a passion and hunger to make new waves in the familiar tides of Swedish dance culture. Each donning their own unique talents to the table in the early days of their live and studio collaborations, what started as a part-time flare of enthusiasm in the studio would soon become the life and breath of their day-to-day lives.
Matching the excitement of their studio triumphs with a glowing presence on the Swedish festival circuit, explosive homeland appearances at Way Out West, Summerburst, Hultsfred and an exclusive appearance for Carlsberg’s “Where’s The Party” concept for 2012 have successfully set in motion a reputation for unforgettable live shows that echoes the energy of their productions.
Already penciling in their debut American tour for winter 2012 and a third original single for Universal entitled “This Is The Song”, the duos melodic and versatile approach to their craft continues to serve quality and excitement at every turn. Far from resting on their laurels quite yet, the future looks sure to prove that Nause are made of something integral for European dance music and the wider industry alike.

CTM (DK)
Cæcilie Trier has with her new main project, CTM, once again proven herself to be one of the most interesting voices and musicians from Denmark. Her musical CV is amazing: Playing cello in the critically acclaimed Choir of Young Believers, being the créateur of Chimes & Bells and playing in Le Fiasko and the experimental group, Valby Vokalgruppe.
CTM is Cæcilie Trier’s new solo project and with CTM another path in her creative mind is revealed. The tunes of CTM are danceable with distinct vocals and likeable beats wrapped in an adventurous production. The percussive elements and the synth arrangements are at once a homage to the musical stars of the early eighties: Avantgarde artists like Laurie Anderson one side and on the other side icons like Leonard Cohen and Michael Jackson.
CTM has already gained international attention with the track “Jewel”. The music blog No Fear of Pop – part of the world wide ADHoc network wrote the following words of praise: “CTM has all the attributes to become just another globally cherished Scandinavian pop darling”.
The debut of CTM, the EP “Variations”, was released in Scandinavia in end November 2012 and received a lot of praise. Large Danish Daily, Politiken, gave CTM 5 stars and wrote: “It broadens the scope of Danish pop… It is seldom that you are pleased so much by an EP”
“Variations” consists of 5 upbeat songs recorded during the summer of 2012 together with Tambourhinoceros co-founder, Oh No Ono member and mixer, Aske Zidore. The result is marvelous and has a compelling vibe to it.

Bendik Giske has a masters in improv sax and has studied at a bunch of top schools, but after meeting Nils Bech he started to produce electronic music. After a long period of working with Nils and a bunch of remixes for Kakkmaddafakka, Samsaya and Sandra Kolstad he’s ready to stand on his own two feet. That background in jazz and contemporary music may now seem somewhat far off, but it is probably always still going to be there…

NONONO (SE)
NONONO are a Swedish trio based in Stockholm. They consist of producer team Astma & Rocwell and singer/songwriter Stina Wäppling. They met through a mutual friend a few years back and formed the group during the Spring of 2012. This is around the time Stina got back from the UK where she had spent her last three years studying to be a psychologist.
Astma & Rocwell have recently been busy working with artists such as Bebe Black, Beatrice Eli, Icona Pop and Benny Banks to name a few. The sound could be described as urban-indie. Melancholy yet hopeful with a bassy beat oriented foundation.
“Like The Wind” is a first taste of NONONO and they are currently in the studio working on new material.
