Boska first let the world head his bass orientated house during Tromsø’s Insomnia festival in 2010 and shortly thereafter dropped a bunch of remixes and original tracks alike for Mental Overdrive’s much respected Love OD Communications imprint. After being picked up by Red Bull for their prestigious Music Academy event in Madrid in 2011 his career took on a distinctly international flavour, “Sicka” a collaboration with Asma Maroof (Nguzunguzu, M.I.A) followed picking up a feature on Pitchfork. His next release and EP entitled “Without Love” took the blogosphere by storm, picking up posts from L.A. to Estonia and received a glowing review from electronica bible Resident Advisor and the video a premiere on XLR8R. With a high-octane live show, improvised around his original tracks and delivered on both electronics and live instruments he made his mark in clubs across Europe with killer shows in Madrid, Cologne, London, Berlin and Stockholm amongst others. At last year’s Øya festival Lot Lot presented club show he debuted an all new live show, now featuring visuals from Petra Hermanová. Axel Boman picked up a track for his Studio Barnhus label and soon after had Julio Bashmore dropping it on BBC Radio 1’s In New Music We Trust Show. This past Autumn saw another EP entitled “Submarine/Behave” on a new London label curated by the one and only Capracara.
Boska is currently splitting his time between Oslo and Berlin and maintains a hectic international touring schedule all the while producing a tracks for a host of new releases.
