Dane, Tim Christiensen has had great success at home in his formative years with the band Dizzy Miss Lizzy, a band he formed with some school chums in 1988. The band split in 1998 and he’s gone on to even greater heights as a solo artist. He’s released four solo records, from which there have been a slew of hits, with “Right next door to the right one” perhaps being the best known on these shores, having featured in the hit Danish TV series “Nicolai & Julie”. Christensen’s sophisticated, impeccably crafted melodic pop is all delivered perfectly by his long time backing band – The Damn Crystals. It is thus fair to say that by:Larm will be playing host to a proper bonafide Danish institution in February.
