Sirkus Eliassen is the story about two brothers from Northern Norway who came together to play at parties, and became Norway´s largest hit band in 2012!
Magnus Eliassen has released his own songs as a singer-songwriter on two albums. In fact he won the Audience Prize at ByLarm in 2006 for his performance. Magnus has always had a liking towards good pop-songs, and so with his brother Erik, they used to make songs for their friends at parties. Their hit song from Summer 2011 «Hjem til dæ» reached the top charts and was radiolisted on national radio.
Their main single from 2012 ”Æ vil bare dans” was 28 weeks on the Top charts. Last year Sirkus Eliassen became the most streamed band in Norway, and their main hit was the most streamed Norwegian song on Spotify and Wimp.
